Top PR agency makes key appointment

Leading North East PR consultancy Bradley O’Mahoney Public Relations has promoted talented consultant Clare Maxwell to an account director.

Clare, 31, who joined as a senior consultant in September 2000, brought with her a wide range of experience working with clients in the public and private sector.

Since then she has managed accounts such as DFDS Seaways, learndirect – sponsors of ITV’s highly successful ‘Who wants to be a millionaire’ quiz – and Newcastle College, the largest college in the North East.

In 2002 her hard work was recognised at the annual Institute of Public Relations Cream Awards. Clare won a silver award in the Best Consumer Campaign category for her work in promoting the Thistle Hotel’s Gengis restaurant and bar in Newcastle and again in 2003 with work for Newcastle City Council’s ‘New Year’s Eve Campaign.’

Tony Bradley, partner at Bradley O’Mahoney Public Relations said: “Clare is a first class operator whose quality of work is admired and respected by her clients and colleagues. Our aim is to build and develop a top class team of people that have the skills and expertise to meet the needs of our very ambitious client base.”
