| Eurovision Success!
The UK may have scored nil points in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest but Bradley O’Mahoney PR ensured the UK’s biggest-ever celebration of Eurovision was a huge success.
The three day ‘Eurofest 2003’ festival in Newcastle upon Tyne attracted some of the cult competition’s best-known former winners including Bucks Fizz, Brotherhood of Man, Sonia and the UK’s last Eurovision winner, Katrina.
The festival culminated in a huge party at the Tyneside Cinema with a live link to the contest in Riga, Latvia and a personal message from Terry Wogan to Eurofest revellers.
Judith Ranson, account executive at Bradley O’Mahoney, said: “It was great to be involved in promoting the first ‘Eurofest’ in the UK. Due to its success the festival is sure to become an annual event.
“We identified the target audience, set out deliverable aims and objectives and used our media contacts to build a strong and successful PR campaign.”
Bradley O’Mahoney has also managed the PR for Newcastle City Council’s New Year’s Eve celebrations for the last two years….and who said PR is all about organising parties!!
