Before crossing the floor into PR 23 years ago, Tony was a regional newspaper journalist.
He founded his own PR consultancy in 1991 and clients have included Ernst & Young, IBM, Mono Containers and Northern Electric.
Tony is chairman of the Institute of Public Relations North East Group, is PR adviser to the Prince's Trust, sits on the IPR Professional Practices Committee, represents the PR industry on the external marketing panel of One NorthEast and is the only IPR Fellow working in consultancy in the region.
