Beck & Pollitzer Engineering is one of Europe's leading suppliers of outsourced engineering services to the manufacturing industry. This includes the installation and relocation of new and existing manufacturing and production line machinery from one to 1,000 tonnes, installation of instrumentation and control systems and provision of on-site maintenance.

Brief
To position Beck & Pollitzer correctly and prominently in its market place.


Strategy
To achieve this, a PR strategy has been deployed to position Beck & Pollitzer as a leader in its field.

In delivering the strategy, we have sought to communicate a number of key messages about corporate values, industry leadership, innovation, added value solutions and service quality.

This has been achieved through a programme of news stories and feature articles in relevant trade publications and business media.

The role of the PR has been to communicate these important selling messages to target audiences, positioning the business and generating sales leads and orders. In this way Beck & Pollitzer's investment in PR has been seen to have a direct and measurable impact on its business bottom line.

The consultancy has also negotiated a sponsorship of the International Automotive Conference, held in Sunderland in May 2000, whichraised awareness of Beck & Pollitzer within a key market sector. Additional work has included project managing the production of a brochure for the company's maintenance services division.

The quality of the consultancy's work was recognised when the PR campaign for Beck & Pollitzer was nominated in the IPR Cream Awards 'Best Business to Business' campaign.
